FounderFelicia Moore
With over 25 years of dance experience, the founder of Show Up Studios brings passion and professionalism to every space. Her background includes performing professionally, opening for artists like Busta Rhymes, touring with Nappy Roots, and collaborating with D1 colleges, No Limit recording artists & local artists. She stays connected to her roots by performing and giving back at local events.
She also holds a bachelor’s in business administration, pairing artistic talent with solid leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Candace
InstructorCandace Johnson was born and raised in Selma. She has an avid dance history starting with dancing for 5 years for Meadowview Christian School. Candace was awarded UDA all star dancer in 1998, then in college, she was an AUM Senator Sensation from 2000-2002. She then became dance coach, sponsor, and competition judge off and on since 1999.
With a degree in Mass communications & Public Relations from AUM, Candace he has developed a career in Tourism and Community Development and Communications.
